Hazbin Hotel's Creator Is Aware of Fans' Second Season Bingo Cards — With Some Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel debuts on Prime Video this week, and audience theories has been intense.

The first season presents a diverse group of characters residing in the afterlife, sets them at odds accompanied by musical numbers about their clashes, and builds tense rivalries and angsty, affectionate connections that drive audience devotion.

The community's expectations for the new season vary widely, but certain threads emerge over and over: Could Angel Dust escape his tormentor? Might we learn more about the binding agreement constraining the enigmatic Alastor? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Obviously, I don't produce the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator stated earlier this year. "But I feel like me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I want some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how quickly the new season moves, and how many of what they're anticipating happens now.

"I believe people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "There are several debut moments. I think we receive some incredible disclosures, some really cool origin tales, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience additional musical numbers from the previously silent cast members."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — especially in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've seen a few fans create a prediction grid about the new season," she mentions. "Obviously I can't post it, but I've actually done some of them, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on the streaming service on October 29.
